About Me

First, let me introduce myself.  My name is Michael Wong and I'm currently a Service Desk Analyst at BASF Asia Pacific Service Centre.  I currently hold a Bachelor's Degree (Hons) in Information & Communications Technology from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, a Tier-5
university in Malaysia.

I have a deep passion for playing games ever since I was a little kid.  My father bought my very own gaming console, a SEGA, when I was 5.  Back then, the games are all in 2D and the graphics are not very good.  But, I still love the games I played and as I gradually grew up, I came to own many different consoles, such as Sony PlayStation, GameBoy Advance, and a PlayStation Portable.  Some of my favorite game titles include Final Fantasy series, Shining Force, Resident Evil, Tekken and others.  As you can guess, my favorite genre of games is RPG.

When I first entered university, I learned different programming languages, such as C, C++, Java, HTML and others.  This helped my greatly in my foundation for programming.  During my first year, I dabble at game development without much success, due to lack of resources.  That is when I discovered Unity3D.  My first experience with Unity3D did not go well.  I bought many books, read up on tutorials, but none of those really taught me how to make a complete game, and I was stuck.

During my final year, I was the developer for my team's Technopreneurship Team Project.  I created a 2D game based on history.  Our team was one of the top teams in the whole program.  For my Final Year Project, I recreated the game using Unity3D and presented a 3D demo prototype of the game.  The project was chosen among a list of final year projects to represent my lecturer in the ITEX 2013 competition.

After 3 years of studying and programming with Unity3D, my love for game development grows even stronger.  As I had read, there are many people who loves to try out game development but do not know where to start.

This training will be the best starting point for you.  So do not hesitate any longer, call now and book your spot!  I hope to see you game lovers in the near future!
